about

The Posies were the first band I’d seen that felt so completely different live than on their recordings. Sure, I loved my "Failure" cassette, but hearing those songs live is really what made me fall in love with them. The Posies could/can do things that are way beyond my reach as a musician, but they still inspired me to want to make music, and that’s about as high of a compliment as I can give any band. Ken’s voice is one of my all-time favorites, and the two of them singing together can actually make hearts explode. Ontario happens to be Dee's favorite song, but Flood of Sunshine was always the one that me and my friends pushed to the front for. -Charles
